the ocean of me...

ocean lover's ocean is my livejournal... I seem to read lots of other people's journals but never post anything of my own...

seems like I never write anything at all any more... I have two places out here in cyberspace where I can record what I'm thinking and doing but I never seem to have the time or the energy to really update them... I even have a paper journal where I can write and several killer pens... but I jus feel like I have nothing to say... that my mind is blank most of the time... and when I do have an opinion it mostly makes me want to cry because it has something to do with the fact that I am quite ashamed to be an american at this point in history...

oh, well... here's an update...

I'm a knitting fiend... I'm making a bright green and a mellow purple coif and am working on a scarf for my friend Anika in this beautiful dark red chenille that I got off of eBay last year (2002) before Christmas... I knitted up a purple scarf for d's mother for the holidays and have made two hats so far and am working on another to give to mark as I promised him before the holidays... I'm sure that he thinks I've forgotten him but I've just been busy... and sick...

I have a wicked bad case of food poisoning last week... I was out of work for two days and could only stomach bread, crackers and gatorade for another two days...

my friend Anika called me about a week ago and left a message on my cell phone... I only got it like yesterday as I never use my cell phone at all anymore... I feel really bad about that... and I want to call her, but I feel like it's almost been too long...
