IN LOVE! I have been trying to figure out some animal/toy patterns to make for the mamas-to-be in my life. I think that this and Nautie might be on the top of the list.

i love this pattern. i am going to have to make one for myself and for all of my friends. i have been trying to cut down on my "carbon footprint" and use less fossil fuels and eat less meat. this is a perfect item to carry along with you so that you never need to answer paper or plastic again...

...to get home to my knitting and my Harry Potter.

Tomorrow is the actual release date of Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix, the long (okay, not SO long) awaited 5th movie in the franchise, though my friend Hannah will be seeing it tonight at midnight.

And the 21st is the publishing date for the LAST book in the series, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows. CANNOT wait to get my hands on that sucker. It has been pre-ordered via Amazon and I hopehopehope it will be waiting for me on my doorstep when I get home on Friday.

Not only that but I have two knitting projects that I have been working on for gestating critters (and one for ME) that I want to work on. Both critters in the works are gonna be of the boy persuasion and I am SO excited that they're on their way. Natalie, Dave, Hillary & Josh are gonna make fantastic parents!

Unfortunately, I have not mastered the reading and knitting at the same time. It is something that I wish came more naturally to me as they are two quiet time things that I would really like to be able to do at the same time.
