I find myself here again. Google-ing unexplained sadness. Except I know the explanation. It is the depression. The one that comes on strong every year when the sun goes south for the winter. I assume that I will become a snowbird in my old age. Following my happiness south with the sun. But right now I need more meds to keep the crying at nothing at bay.

IN LOVE! I have been trying to figure out some animal/toy patterns to make for the mamas-to-be in my life. I think that this and Nautie might be on the top of the list.

i love this pattern. i am going to have to make one for myself and for all of my friends. i have been trying to cut down on my "carbon footprint" and use less fossil fuels and eat less meat. this is a perfect item to carry along with you so that you never need to answer paper or plastic again...

I have discovered that after a week of sleeping with LDB I cannot sleep in my bed alone any more. Both Saturday night and last night I tossed and turned, woke up about every hour or so and generally had a crappy night of sleep.

This knowledge kinda sucks since I am not ready to take on a live in partner yet. Or maybe ever. So I feel a little doomed to sleplessness because of that. Maybe I just need to NOT sleep with anyone at all so that I don't get used to another body in the bed. Have my bed be only for me.

In other sleep relatedness, I have been having more problems with my RLS. It seems like I am getting to the threshold of the Sinimet working. I know that I can take more, but if I am going to top out on that pretty quickly, should I try to get something else?

SO itchy...

...to get home to my knitting and my Harry Potter.

Tomorrow is the actual release date of Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix, the long (okay, not SO long) awaited 5th movie in the franchise, though my friend Hannah will be seeing it tonight at midnight.

And the 21st is the publishing date for the LAST book in the series, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows. CANNOT wait to get my hands on that sucker. It has been pre-ordered via Amazon and I hopehopehope it will be waiting for me on my doorstep when I get home on Friday.

Not only that but I have two knitting projects that I have been working on for gestating critters (and one for ME) that I want to work on. Both critters in the works are gonna be of the boy persuasion and I am SO excited that they're on their way. Natalie, Dave, Hillary & Josh are gonna make fantastic parents!

Unfortunately, I have not mastered the reading and knitting at the same time. It is something that I wish came more naturally to me as they are two quiet time things that I would really like to be able to do at the same time.

was trying to see if i could make it a whole year without posting to this blog. i am just about two months shy. oh, well.

it seems that livejournal is not really for me anymore. i feel just too old most of the time over there. and i am not really ready to get my own page, so black to blogger it is.

i thought maybe i would chronicle my search for a new job and the world of temping.

or just post random stuff on a more regular basis.
